City of Rancho Mirage Introduces iHug Friendship Lamps to Foster Community Connections
The City of Rancho Mirage is introducing a new way for members of the community to stay connected – ihug Friendship lamps. The lamps are designed to provide an interactive, visual way for people to stay connected with one another, no matter how far away they are.
The lamps, which come in pairs, are linked via Wi-Fi and can be set up in any two locations. When one lamp is touched, the other lamp will light up, signaling to its owner that someone is thinking of them. It’s a simple gesture of love and friendship that can help to keep people connected, even if they’re hundreds of miles apart.
