Bringing More Light to Rosamond: City Embraces iHug Friendship Lamps
Rosamond, California is a small city with a population of just over 18,000 people located in the Antelope Valley of Los Angeles County. Recently, the city has embraced a new way to bring more light and happiness to its residents: ihug friendship lamps.
The ihug lamps, designed by San Francisco-based designer Joe Wu, are intended to bring people together through an illuminated display of affection. These lamps come in a variety of colors and sizes and can be placed anywhere in a room. Each lamp has a unique serial number and connects to another lamp via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. When one person taps their lamp, the other lamp will light up in the same color.
The ihug lamps were first introduced to Rosamond in 2019 and since then, the city has been embracing them as a way to bring more light and joy to their community. The lamps are being used in a variety of ways, from bringing people together for special occasions to simply providing a friendly reminder that someone is thinking of them.
The city of Rosamond has embraced the ihug lamps in a big way. Businesses throughout the city have been using the lamps to brighten up their storefronts and create a more inviting atmosphere. The local library has also started using the lamps to create a more inviting and cozy atmosphere for its patrons.
The ihug lamps have been a hit in Rosamond and the city has embraced them with open arms. The lamps are bringing more light and joy to the community, and it’s clear that the city is taking steps to make Rosamond an even better place to live. With the help of the ihug lamps, Rosamond is becoming a brighter, happier place to live and work.
